Curtis Green has been working in the real estate and mortgage banking industries for over 20 years. Most recently, he served as Executive Vice President of Sea Breeze Financial, a mid-size mortgage company located in Orange County. During this time, Curtis was responsible for orchestrating key successes such as developing partnerships with Strada Properties, Homecomings RE0 Division and other prominent builders throughout Orange County.
Prior to Sea Breeze, Curtis served as Senior Vice President of Northeast Federal Savings in San Diego, where he established wholesale and retail production facilities in California and Oregon and was responsible for annual production volumes in excess of six hundred million dollars. Curtis also held positions as Senior Vice President of Countrywide Funding in Pasadena and as Wholesale Account Executive of California Federal Savings and Loan, where he launched the wholesale lending department and earned the title of number one wholesale representative in the country during his four years working for the company. Curtis attended San Diego State University.
In addition to Curtis’s corporate achievements, he is very active in the non-profit community as a fundraiser for children with cancer and other life-threatening diseases. In 1999, he and former partner Len Hamilton established an internal fundraising arm of Sea Breeze Financial Inc., The Breeze Fund, with the goal of raising funds to support the Pediatric Cancer Research Foundation and their work with children in need. In 2001, they expanded on that effort by turning The Breeze Fund into a 501(c)(3) organization and renamed it Mortgage Miracles for Kids (DBA Miracles for Kids).
In addition to his work at Miracles for Kids, Curtis has dedicated his time to other nonprofits with their fundraising efforts. Most recently, he worked with the local organization, Music for a Cure, as they partnered with Habitat for Humanity to host a charity auction for children in need.
Curtis’s unwavering focus on his professional and philanthropic lives has earned him a reputation in the community as both a consummate professional and giving individual.
