Annual Program Kicks off June 21st!
The Miracles Surf & Paddle Summer Camp is back this Summer 2013 to give critically-ill children, and their siblings, the opportunity to experience surfing and stand up paddle (SUP) activities under the guidance of expert instructors. The Program, operated in partnership with Billabong, Hobie, the Ocean Institute and Ocean Minded, creates a positive learning experience in ocean and environmental awareness, as well as a long lasting impact on the children by providing a fun-filled and cost-free summer camp program.
The Miracles Surf & Paddle Summer Camp is open to Miracles for Kids’ outpatients at CHOC Children’s Hospital and their siblings. Surf activities are limited to children ages 7-21, and SUP activities are limited to children ages 5-21. Medical and program approval is required. Transportation will be provided to and from CHOC Children’s Hospital. Registration is limited and based on a first come, first serve basis.
