Miracles for Kids relies on the help of many volunteers to execute programs that support families with children fighting cancer and other life-threatening illnesses. Volunteers are an integral part of Miracles for Kids’ success as an organization. They assist with office administration, help to organize and run various community events and fundraisers, and are involved with Miracles for Kids Grant Program children and their families.

General volunteers are always welcome. Experienced volunteers’ may choose to help in any of the specialized areas for Night of Miracles, the Miracles Surf & Paddle Summer Camp and the Basket of Miracles Programs in April, August, November and/or December.

We are grateful for all volunteers’ unwavering dedication of time and energy, and are honored to have them as part of our family.

Here are some ways that volunteers can help Miracles for Kids:

Help at a number of our events throughout the year including the Night of Miracles Gala, Drive for a Cause Golf Tournament, and the Poker Run for Miracles
Assist with assembly and/or delivery during the Basket of Miracles Program
Hold drives with your school, company or network of friends and family throughout the year to collect needed goods for low-income families with critically-ill children in need
Help plan and execute a number of our Programs including Basket of Miracles, Closet of Miracles, the Miracles Surf & Paddle Summer Camp, Miracles Rawhide Riding Camp and more!

Volunteering is a great way to give back to your community while having fun and team building. Miracles for Kids can accommodate volunteers of all ages and group sizes. Volunteers may be eligible for community service hours and school credit.
