In Crisis, Everyone Needs a Miracle
Today, each of us is facing the reality of a widespread health and economic crisis and we are bracing to survive its impact. For the families of Miracles for Kids, the initial impact has already been financially devastating.
Our moms, dads and caregivers, living in poverty and struggling to care for their critically-ill child, are now also losing their jobs. Jobs that once seemed perfect – in retail, restaurants, bakeries, hotels, venues – because late night and early morning hours allowed them to be home for their child during the day – are gone. Either for now or for good. As a result, so is the money they need for rent, gas, prescriptions, and to pay the bills.
These families need a miracle – and that’s why we’re here.
Miracles for Kids is an “essential service” in our community – our doors are open, our phone lines are on, and we are here to help. Our mission is to keep families from crumbling under the combined impact of their child’s critical illness, a devastated economy, and the impact of COVID on their child’s already compromised immune system. Today, they need Miracles more than ever.
To each of our beloved families – you are not alone. The oath we took in 2002 to stand beside you in times of great crisis, is the promise we will keep today.
To each of our cherished donors – it is because of YOU, that we can stand now in support of families in such great need. Thank you.
Our families need us now more than ever. We ask that if you are able, please give a gift in support of our critical, essential service. Our work is only beginning for those who need us most.
On behalf of us all,
