King Nelson
Mr. King Nelson has spent 30+ years in leadership positions in medical device, clinical diagnostics and life sciences with focus on cardiovascular, lung and other life-threatening illnesses.
Mr. Nelson served as CEO and Director for Uptake Medical, Kerberos Proximal Solutions and VenPro – all private venture capital financed medical device companies in Orange County. His currently serves as a Director for CardieX and Regenesis Biomedical.
Previously, he spent 19 years with Baxter International, a global leader in the life science space, in numerous leadership positions.
A native of Dallas, Texas – Mr. Nelson received his BA degree from Texas Tech – home of the Red Raiders, and his MBA from the University of Miami. Mr. Nelson and his wife now reside in Newport Beach and have three grown children.
