Kristin Jefferson
Kristin Jefferson is the Chief Operating Officer of Miracles for Kids, bringing more than 20 years of experience leading operations, finance, and complex systems across nonprofit, public-sector, and mission-driven organizations. In her role, she focuses on strengthening internal systems, ensuring financial and operational stability, and supporting teams so programs can serve families consistently and effectively during times of crisis.
Most recently, Kristin served as Finance Director for a housing and healthcare organization, where she led budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and strategic planning for a $7M+ operating portfolio. She partnered closely with executive leadership on capital planning, investment evaluation, and long-term sustainability, while strengthening internal controls and implementing new financial systems.
Throughout her career, Kristin has held senior roles in programs, operations, and finance across housing, health, and family stabilization organizations throughout Orange County. Her expertise spans financial management, systems design, process improvement, program development and implementation, compliance, and cross-functional leadership, allowing her to translate complex needs into practical, scalable solutions.
Kristin holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance with a minor in Accounting from Clemson University and resides in Orange County with her family.
