Tom Swanecamp
Mr. Tom Swanecamp is a native of Boston, MA and after graduating from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst in 1987 moved to Southern California. He has worked in the telecommunications industry for over twenty five years.
He is the founder and President of Redrock Security and Cabling, Inc., which has offices in Irvine, San Diego, and San Jose, CA. Redrock specializes in the design, engineering and installation of copper and fiber optic structured cabling, video surveillance, audio visual, and wireless systems.
Mr. Swanecamp has been very active in the nonprofit community for many years, working with the Newport Beach Sport Museum to reach at-risk children and teens. He also served on the Board of Director for the Kids Cancer Connection from 1998-2002 and has been a strong supporter and advocate for both Miracles for Kids and the Pediatric Cancer Research Foundation. He contributes to the Laguna Beach Boys and Girls Club by supplying computers and technical services to their recreation room on an ongoing basis. Mr. Swanecamp also serves on the board and is an active participant for Waves of Impact, which was formed to introduce individuals facing exceptional challenges (i.e., wounded war Veterans, Children with Autism, etc.) in their lives to the unexplainable wonders of riding waves and the benefits of spending a day at the beach.
Mr. Swanecamp has resided in the Laguna Beach/Dana Point area for over 20 years.
