Meet the Team

Veronica serves as a Development Assistant. Her areas of responsibility are database management and analysis, donor communication and stewardship, event support, collaboration and communication.

Prior to Miracles for Kids, she worked full-time as an acupuncturist & herbalist treating patients with various health ailments in Newport Beach for over 15 years. She obtained her master’s in science from SAMRA University in Los Angeles, an institute that specialized in holistic medicine. She volunteered at the National Acupuncture Detoxification Association where she trained to aid behavioral and emotional health as well as addictions and co-occurring disorders. She completed her residency in China gaining practical experience and deep understanding of herbal medicine and patient care.

Veronica was introduced to Miracles for Kids by a friend who did volunteer work and was encouraged to participate in a few of their events and was inspired by it. Over time her patient
number grew and her kids became more school involved, she decided to work less than part time as an acupuncturist and transitioned over to Miracles for Kids in hopes of making a positive difference in society and continuing to contribute to the greater good.

Veronica lives in Irvine and enjoys spending time with her family, making leis, art and craft, and exploring historical places.
