A Miracle Moment – Ayden

(October 2026) – At just three years old, Ayden has already faced more medical challenges than most people experience in a lifetime. Born with a genetic disorder that was discovered during mom’s 22nd week of pregnancy, Ayden’s earliest days were spent fighting for his health. Shortly after birth, he was transferred to Children’s Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA), where he received a blood transfusion and treatment for pneumonia. After 25 days in the hospital, Ayden was placed on the liver transplant list and underwent a life-saving transplant at just two months old.

Today, Ayden continues to require extensive medical care, including seven daily medications, weekly lab work to monitor his blood counts, and speech therapy. Despite everything he has endured, he remains a happy and resilient little boy.

Beyond Ayden’s medical needs, mom is coping with the recent loss of her mother and brother-in-law. With her mother no longer available to help care for Ayden’s three siblings, mom has struggled to manage the demands of caregiving while maintaining employment. The emotional toll, combined with financial challenges, has placed tremendous strain on the family.

Through the continued support of Miracles for Kids, Ayden’s family receives much-needed assistance during this difficult time. This support helps ease their financial burdens, allowing mom to focus on Ayden’s treatment and the well-being of his siblings. The family remains deeply grateful for the generosity that helps bring stability and hope when they need it most.

For families caring for a critically-ill child like Ayden, the impact of a diagnosis reaches far beyond the hospital. Support from Miracles for Kids helps families manage everyday needs so they can remain focused on what matters most — the care of their child.
