Meet Mariah

(August 2026) – For two years, Mariah endured constant mouth pain and swelling while her family searched for answers. After numerous dental visits, a referral to a specialist finally led to the heartbreaking discovery of a cancerous tumor in her jaw.

Mariah’s treatment includes chemotherapy both at home and in the hospital, with daily oral medication and regular biopsies to monitor her progress. She has also been diagnosed with TMJ, limiting her ability to open her mouth, and surgery may be needed to remove the tumor and improve her jaw function. Through the pain, treatments, and uncertainty, Mariah continues to find reasons to smile with the support of her loving family.
